Men Offer Pot For New IPad

Gilbert police have arrested two men over an unusual Craigslist ad, Phoenix TV station KPHO reported.

Jacob Walker, 20, and Joseph Velarde, 20, offered to trade an unused iPod Touch and a quarter ounce of marijuana for an iPad, police Sgt. Mark Marino said.

Walker and Velarde were arrested when they brought the items to an arranged meeting with an undercover detective who responded to the ad, Marino said.

He said detectives replied to Walker's posting and set up a meeting Wednesday at a Gilbert intersection. Walker arrived at the location with the items and presented the marijuana to an undercover detective, Marino said.

Both men face drug-related charges.
