As Neutra Corp. (OTCBB: NTRR) works to deliver new products and services to a medical marijuana (MMJ) industry hungry for innovation, cannabis sales have seen a massive increase in one of the country's top markets.
Annual MMJ sales in Colorado surged mightily over the past year, growing to an estimated $300 million. When the numbers for 2013's final fiscal quarter are tallied, the state could see a 37-percent increase over last year's sales. According to reporting by MMJ Business Daily, the average dispensary in Colorado is now raking in $600,000 in annual sales, more than double the average in 2012.
"As MMJ products and services become more reliable and consistent, we see unlimited growth potential in Colorado, California and other superior markets," said NTRR CEO Sydney Jim. "Sales via dispensaries have quadrupled in Colorado since 2010. The only problem has been getting enough product into those dispensaries.
"That's a problem we look forward to helping solve," he added.
NTRR is currently exploring a number of promising innovations throughout the MMJ supply chain. Thanks to joint ventures with emerging California firms Vertigo Technologies, LLC, Second Wave Ventures, LLC, and Field of View Technologies, LLC, NTRR is on the cusp of delivering potentially lucrative new advancements in the processing and usage of cannabis in approved markets.
