My first ever grow

My first ever grow, the biggest ones on day 39 from seed, 22 days 24 h light under 300 w blue cfl, then switched to 12/12 the next day white hairs started to appear, been In flower 17 days, she is either bcn xxl critical, or og kush photoperiods, but I did lose a lemonberry auto during germination and thought it was a photoperiod that I lost, so she might actually be an autoflower. I think she looks OK for my first time, the other 2 are autos, the one in veg is white widow day 17 and the other is blueberry. 7 days, just wish I knew what the big one is, I'd rather just have autos as when I ordered the seeds thats what I thought they were. I think its growing like an auto but I've never done this before so wouldn't have a clue

i'd say they are growing and they look healthy and good so keep them rolling.

one thing to note; auto flower do their own thing. as soon as they mature up and even if the light is not set to 12/12 they would still flower which then the grower would notice and change the lights.

If your plants flowerd after the time was set to 12/12 then they must be photoperiods.
honestly i like photoperiod better as you can control them easier. however, with auto's you never go wrong!

I'm new too! Reading through threads made me want to join,lol! Plus I'm only on my 2nd grow,at the ending. 2 of those being autos that were freebies. I started them outside and once they started to flower,I brought them in. I've been told they would do their own thing and they sure did.
Seems fast for white hairs to appear since you just flipped to 12-12 the day before. Might have already been developing? The photos I've done so far, Tangie, GDP, GG4, and Wicked and those didn't start to flower for about a week after being flipped. So you could be right.

Yes auto flowers have their own mind and grows differently. Yet, you can perform certain techniques to reduce the way the grow, but not as easy as photo period plants. Photo sentases are more controllable and you can with proper training and growing techniques you can have awesome results.

I am more fan of photo senteses plants and seeds.

update on my plants,

on day 56 from seed 12/12 for the last 34 days hopefully it wont be too long now until harvest, cant wait to pack a big juicy bong
