Nutrient questions

Soooo,I decided to try and try a different nute line to see if I can increase quality and yields. I chose the T.P.S nute line.i have to say, it's amazing BUT... after adding the nutrients to the water, the P.H drops super low and I'm now going through mass quantities of P.H. +.I guess my question is, does anyone else here use these nutes and have the same ph problems??

I don’t use that line but I can’t see any reason why any nutrients would need massive quantities of ph+ to balance.
What are you using for ph+? What medium are you growing in?

I'm using the G.H. PH control set and I'm growing in D.W.C ( 5 gal.) I'm using R.O. water. After adding everything to the water the ph is around 4.5 or lower. It takes somewhere between 10-15ml's of ph plus to hit the 6.0 mark.

I use a different ph plus and usually ph to around 5.6- 5.8.
But 10- 15 ml seems fairly normal to me, depending how strong the nutrient mix is.

I guess I'm just used to only using 2-5 ml's with G.H NUTRIENTS LOL. I'M still learning. I also use perpinator. I wonder if that could be the cause?? Thank you for the help kind sir lol.

I think that purpinator stuff is supposed to be pH balanced for soil so it shouldn’t be acidic.

Maybe check your pH meter just to be sure it’s working properly.

I'll probably just get a new ph meter. I think I only paid 15$for the one I'm using. I always double check with the liquid test kit.

Get a pH meter that adjusts with a screw and you can calibrate to your tap water once you know it's pH
