Three marijuana gardens worth an estimated $4.06 million on the street were seized Thursday by county law enforcement officials, authorities said.

Sheriff's deputies assigned to the county's Marijuana Eradication Team and sheriff's narcotics detectives found and seized the crop at Cahoon Summit, just west of Carmel Valley, on public property controlled by the Bureau of Land Management, authorities said.

A total of 812 marijuana plants were taken.
Law enforcement also found two campsites near the gardens that were littered with debris, an indicator that marijuana growers had been at the location. Some items were collected as evidence. No arrests were made.

Last month, the eradication team seized marijuana gardens at three locations in the Los Padres National Forest.
