I have been using general hydro liquid nutes at 100 ppm with ro water for seedlings in 2 inch potting mix rest down coco loco potting mix..also seedling are transplanted in rapid rooters...I purchased general organics..will it be okay to use them in such a medium as mine??? And 1/4 strength from feed chart should be sufficient or will it under feed or cause nite burn?? Also must I flush before harvest as hydro coco grow???

Yo JD!

Personally i just sprout without a nutrient wash. Seeds sprout in nature without such things, but I am a touch red neck. ;) Things are evolving and we learn more every day.

Flushing? If i was not growing organic, i still would flush. Some claim it's "bro science". This means there is no true scientific research completed and a definitive answer has been ascertained.

I was feeding a crop with guano teas during flower. I cut a bottom branch to test before my water only stretch before harvest. That branch alone choked me out more than anything i have ever smoked; unable to hold a hit. I believe we can contaminate our herb by pushing ferts in to it.

For nitrate based ferts i would flush, but this is not congruent with growers new attitudes towards a flush. So at this point...i feel my thoughts are stuck in days gone past, yet my experience persuades me to keep to a flush.

Perhaps others will chime in and offer another view.

Thank you very much again for your wisdom..I also just found my plant I thought diedhad been revived and back into my grow tent and it's now in my coco loco potting soil mix and I hit it with low nutes starting with r.o water and around 130 ppm 6.5-6.7 ph...
