GRANTS PASS, Ore. - Oregon State Police initially stopped the rented Dodge Charger northbound on Interstate 5 near Grants Pass for a traffic violation. Sgt. Jeff Fitzgerald said Friday they learned the driver, 30-year-old Michael Allen Orman of Spokane, Wash., was wanted in Marion County on a felony warrant alleging money laundering. Fitzgerald says the man's driving privileges also were suspended. So officers took him to the Josephine County Jail.

Troopers kept investigating and obtained a search warrant for the car. Fitzgerald says that yielded about 50 pounds of marijuana in the trunk, worth an estimated $125,000.
