The Health Policy Commission usually meets in Wilsonville. And there is a lot of action in Salem. I can't get to as much as I like, but I try to let folks know so that others might make them.

Two days after the Health Policy Commission ( while election results were still being announced) I got this note in my e-mail:

There will be many discussions on the medical marijuana issue in the 2009 Legislative Session next year. You had written to our office a while back regarding your own legislation (I-28), and we would like to know who will be sponsoring the legislation you referenced in your email. W e would appreciate receiving that information so we may better research the many aspects of this issue.

Thank you so much.

Wow! Talk about looking for some legs to kick!

For those who aren't aware, Rep. Olson is a former Oregon State Trooper (29 years) and a major proponent of SB 465.
