Paris Hilton has been arrested early Saturday for marijuana possession; this is the second time Hilton has been busted for pot possession in the month! According to information provided by the police, custom officials found marijuana in her handbag.
The arrest took place at Figari airport, in the French island of Corsica. She had less than gram of marijuana, so it was not a big deal, but police still kept her in custody for 30 minutes before being released. Paris Hilton will not face possession of marijuana charge.
In declarations to newspaper Corse Matin, authorities said:
"Ms Hilton was taken aside as she landed at Figari. She was searched in a secure area of the airport police station and an amount of cannabis that weighed less than a gram, was found in herhandbag . Due to the small amount of the substance, she was cautioned to not travel with drugs then released within an hour with no criminal charges. The drug was confiscated and destroyed."
Paris Hilton had previously been detained for smoking pot during a World Cup match. Now the sad part of all of it for Hilton is that she has ran out of pot during her stay at Corsica! At least for the moment...
