I only prune ( defoliate) if the plant isn't getting adequate light penetration .
Your plant is getting adequate light penetration don't prune it at this stage.
Your leaves are like solar panels absorbing light to fuel growth .
Also they are back up nutrients in cases of deficiency eg if you get a nitrogen deficiency the plant pulls nitrogen from the leaves.

Thank you again doc you have been very helpful. Wasn't planing on defoliating it and now I certainly will not.
