Question About Cloning Timing

Now from what I can see most posters in these forums either have one closet, grow box, or room for growing. Space is a limiting factor for most of us.
I'm told that it takes 8 weeks or more in a lot of cases to flower a plant and it only takes about two to three weeks for a clone to be ready for vegging.
What do I do? I'm curious how everyone deals with this.

how big is your area? can you have a veg/clone area and a flower area?

then just have a continuous cycle

What I'd like to do is just have the clones on a slow grow and then when the flowering is done, move the next batch on to the tables, do some vegging for lets say 8 weeks or until we see some pre-flowering and then flower and so on and so on.
I was hoping someone would give me some hints along these lines. 8 weeks or more for cloning does seem a little long.

depends on the stain also, some take longer to root, i have a strain that is about 18in in 6 weeks, were as the other pure indica strian is about 8in in the same amount of time. they were both about 2 or 3in when i cut them.

your just gonna have to figure out what works for you with the space and time you have
