Question on Mimosa seeds germinating

Hello all, I am germinating this year’s seeds using the paper towel method and I have 4 out of 5 mimosa seeds that are barely starting to open and a couple not yet open. My question is do mimosa seeds sprout slow? Anyone have any experience with sprouting this strain? Thanks all.

No experience with that strain but in one sense - seeds are seeds. I don’t use paper towel method but waterboard them in glass jar of well water with a splash of hydrogen peroxide for a 24 hour soak and usually a root tip can be barely seen peeking out of the shell casing, I pop mine straight into rapid rooters right after the 24 hour swim and wait for the magic to happen

All the other normal stuff applies too, keep temps nice and warm 76ish but don’t blast them with your high powered hps or led, I use cfl about 5 inches above to draw them out to the light
