Room Built 2 X 600W on light mover over 2 X 8ft NFT trays. Light advice plse

hi thanks for taking a look at ma post.

So got a new grow room in a single garage. temp great so plants in. Never used a light mover before but pal convinced me to install a single overhead track rail, with a bar hanging 2 X 600w down over the grow trays balanced either side of the mover, like a set of old school weighing scales.

Can anyone please advise me on optimum length of travel of the lights on the mover ? Each tray can take up to 20 plants but this means a 7ft run up and down the rail but I can adjust. would be happy with 1.5oz a plant.

with 7 ft of rail that would mean3.5 ft either side of centre ,a 600w has an approx 4ftx4ft footprint so the light optimally only needs to move about 1.5 ft either side of centre . hope that helps mate

Thanks for your reply bud, it did seem a long wait for the lights to cycle up / back on full rail. will get the distance reigned back in.
