Just need some clarification on when to push a single female plant to flowering stage. It's been singular in an Aerogarden going on day 35. Have a bubble stone. And general hydroponics nutrient 3 pack and ph test. Here's all the pics I have

If its half the hight you want it to finish at would be a safe time.

Also if you train it, you can increase your yield by up to 40% :)

I have 4 plants currently filling my 5x5 tent right now. Still in veg for a week. I am letting them grow little taller before I do my switch! :)

All in all, it is really up to you.

I added some reflective pieces on the bottom. But how should I train this one? Seems like there's tons of new leaf clusters and I know c99 is a short bushy plant.

Well if its a photoperiod plant, keep it in veg until your ready.

Have a look online for manifold techniques. Lots of tutorials.

It also depends how much room you have. If you have a 4x4 area, you can fill it out that much if you choose! (Pending you have the light!)

Basic rule is to grow it flat like a table. Then switch it to flower :)

Btw the seed was one I pulled out of a bag and decided to just put it in. Also the root system is insane. Should I trim them back a bit? They are literally sitting to the right of the pump and to the left of the air stone. Kind of wondering if I can train the roots. Trim short near the stone and pump and keep a bunch long and guide them around the basin

That I don't know.. I am in soil. As far to my knowledge is to not hurt the root system. May need to wait on a dwc person!

How far up should I trim off? I just did 4 branches with an exacto knife for a clean cut. And also tied the tip down with yarn lightly. So it doesn't choke it. Or should I clip the top just above the joint? It's the only one in the middle pod so I'm wondering what I can trim or what I can't to achieve a wide>tall plant. Also it.seems like I have a few sets of giant fan leaves and theyre.blocking the other ones. I lightly pulled them down below the ones.

Basicly at node 3-6 you can top it. Leaving the growth there. (Tie them down). Strip everything below it. This will grow two main colas. Basicly like a T. Make sure you leave a bit of stem above to renforce...

After it had a chance to grow, you will have additional nodes off the two lines. Cut off the ones that grow off those that are up/down. You will want to keep the ones on the side to develop into additional lines.

Let me see if I have a pic of mine.
Basicly a T. I decided to leave all nodes.

Also I believe this unit is a full spectrum 60w blue. Red. And white/yellow led panel light. It's the aerogarden. Harvest elite touch. So it doesn't get hot. Should I have the light right up to the plants or a few inches away.

So just to clarify. On the 3rd or forth joint tie down all leaves. And cut any below.
Does this make like a base for the plant? I see yours

I just finished C99 grow. Mine ended up like 50 inches tall. Mostly Sativa I think.
Never heard of trimming roots. I wouldn’t.
If you’re dwc your pump should be off and out of the res by now.
I just noticed aero garden title of thread. Not aware of that setup

Look at LST for training. I’m doing some now.

Perfect! Snap a pic if you dont mind! :)

I use copper wire (with plastic outter layer) in a hook form to the potter. Just adjust it ever few day. Grow it out based on your light footprint.

You will have about 40% additional at harvest time! :) it will take slightly longer due to extra veg time. But worth it in the end imo.
