Some Rdwc plants thriving better than others

I currently have 4 plants directly under one 600watt light and they are in veg. The problem is they are in a home made rdwc system and the 2 plants in buckets closest to the reservoir seem to be doing quite a bit better. At first i thought they were getting more light than the others but i dont think thats the case. Could it be they are receiving more nutrients than the others? Any help will be much appreciated.

Is there an airstone in each pot or just the reservoir?

If it's only in the Rez the first 2 might be using up all the o2.

Also, are they at least the same type or phenol plants?
