Stoner idea

Looking at light rails i have had it in the back of my head of what i could
make one out of and i had a simple idea .What if you got one of those cheese
things you put a Christmas tree on that turns it slow.The idea would be
to keep the light in one place and move the plant .I know it would only
work for maybe 2 plants but i bet in the summer you could get one of those pretty cheap,Just a idea.

Sure, why not?

You can get motorized turntables that would support a plant.

I think it would work very well with a Phototron-style setup, where you have vertical T5 or T8 fixtures on the sides and the plants spinning slowly in the center.

You got any links to the "cheese things" you're talking about?

One concern would be having electricity right below the plant, which isn't a good idea with watering and all, so you would have to be careful with how you set that up, but I think it's a very viable idea.

ok,put the plants on a skateboard and tie a rope to it .........................it winds around the stick in the Christmas tree holder? or something like that?

i use "lazy susans" under my plants.makes it very easy to check things out and to rotate your crop,so to speak.who says stoners can't think? well sometimes its kind of hard.... c ya
