Stupid cloning question?

OK...you take clippings fron your budding plants...put them under a differnt light cycle...is there a chance they will now morph into males or hermies?

I have not heard of that.... and have not had that happen to me. but I have taken only 2 clones from flowering plants. They take longer to root, IMHO anyways. I like to take a clone or two about a week or two before I put the plant into flower..

I've never heard of that either. I took 12 clones from females that had been under 12/12 for 10 days and had just shown their sex...unlike in Herb Zen's experience, mine rooted pretty fast (10 of them anyway...2 failed to root and got the boot)...they just took forever to re-start vegetative growth and were tiny until I transplanted them after roots were well established.

They were on 24/0 for a few days and then went to 18/6...didn't seem to stress them at all, and stress is what causes hermies.
