THE REAL REASON MARIJUANA IS ILLEGAL
Most people think that it was for the health and well being of the American people. People who think that are incorrect. Marijuana is illegal because of the greed of two juiced business men, and the need of a man to keep the power that he tasted first during alcohols prohibition.
Hemp was to be the new billion dollar crop. Hemp had been grown for years, but with the old processes for processing hemp was too expensive to compete with other fiber sources as much of the plant was wasted. New technology was being introduced that was going to make hemp “the choice crop” it would be competitive and abundant.
In the 1930’s Marijuana was not used as a word in the American vocabulary, but they knew that the American people would not believe Hemp madness so they used the “Mexican” word for it playing on the racism at the time.
People thought that this was a terrible new drug. The American public did not know that Hemp and Marijuana came from the same plant species cannabis, but Anslinger, DuPont, and Hearst did. They also knew that they could not get hemp banned outright, but by getting marijuana banned that could accomplish their plans. This is why the law lists cannabis not marijuana or the specific variety of cannabis. Why would William Randolph Hearst or the DuPont corporation care about Hemp or marijuana. William Randolph Hearst was and newspaper man on the surface but most of the corporation’s money came from mining and forestry and a lot of his forestry money came from pulp for paper, and paper mills. DuPont corporation also had greed on their mind in 1935 they introduced nylon and in 1937 they introduced a new chemical method to bleach wood pulp for paper. They both knew that hemp was about to be much more abundant than wood it produced better fibers and was much more renewable than trees which take 20 or 30 years to replace. In fact an artical had come out saying that hemp could be used in at least 25,000 diffrent uses.
They knew that they could never get Hemp banned so they sought the help of their mutual friend none other than Harry J Anslinger then director of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics. This was of mutual benefit to him because after the 1933 end of prohibition he needed a reason to be important again the bureau was also loosing funding more every year. So why not a new prohibition this would be beneficial to all parties. Reefer madness the propaganda war on cannabis was born. Did any of you ever smoke a joint then have the sudden overwhelming urge to kill your whole family with an axe. They actually made a video depicting this vary thing. I will admit to only having the overwhelming urge to killing a whole bag of cheetos after smoking a good joint.
They also played on Americas disgusting racism that was rampant in the 1930’s and beyond. This is part of Harry J Anslingers 1937 testimony to congress “Marijuana is the most violence causing drug in the history of mankind” He also said that “most marijuana smokers are Negros, Hispanics, Filipino and entertainers and that satanic Jazz and Swing music was a result of marijuana usage. This marijuana usage causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negros” they told the American Medical Association 2 days before the scheduled vote so they had no facts ready. They then told congress that the AMA was in agreement with them.

For example he said to congress that it was the most violence causing drug known to mankind he then said in a speech that it sapped the will to fight and opened the user up to communistic suggestions. Well which is it Harry?
Something that I have always thought was strange is why they were listening to Harry J Anslinger who was not an expert on marijuana usage or the health effects. In fact why do Americans listen to law enforcement officers today they are not doctors they are not psychologists they are not people suffering with pain and illness. They just represent an INDUSTRY that receives billions of dollars to enforce the cannabis prohibition so what else would they say.
The American people need to scream at the top of their lungs that they want this stopped. It is a law based on bull chit founded in racism and fear and we need to legalize all cannabis. Stop putting good people in jail and breaking up families. This would stop violent people from ruining our forests and violent gangs trafficking this stuff across the border. This would also take it out of the hands of children.
The money saved on law enforcement alone would be tremendous and if cannabis marijuana and Hemp were taxed we would be able to pay down our tremendous debt. It is time for that hypocrite NOBAMA to free the weed. Right now it seems to me that the only crime of marijuana is getting caught.
