Thinning leaves

i was wondering if i should thin the leaves out on my plant. it has lots of leaves and I'm sure its stopping light from getting inside. so i was wondering if its good to thin it out or just leave it i don't want to hurt the plant or put it in shock

Hey Joe

Leaves are good, but it's ok to pick some off if they are bothering you. Just go easy.

well they don't bother me it just seems like there is a lot of leaves. take a look.

They look like healthy leaves

I would keep them

If you feel that any are "getting in the way" you can tuck them down,

but a plant uses it's leaves for photosynthesis, which provides energy to make buds.

If you cut them off, she will just grow more leaves.

ok thanks for the info. I will leave them alone then i don't want to put any stress on them since they are looking pretty good so far. check out my journal i just started on them and let me know what you think.

ok so i decided to try and thin the leaves on one plant just to try it and see what it does for the plant. i just hope i didn't go overboard on the cutting. first pic is before second is after and third is all the leaves i took off.
