Tryin to start something small...any advice?

Been smokin for awhile and now I wanna try something on my own...jus wanna know what kinda dirt I should get if im goin organic,what kinda lights I should get,the light cycles,watering and nute cycles,and anything else u guys could suggest for me would be great...thanks in advance
