I have been having trouble with my seedlings. At first, when the third node came in, the leaves were yellow and didn't develop. The lower set of leaves got brown spots, but the top looked healthy. (I had watered with tap water, which turned out to have pH of 7.6) {First pic} I fertilized and used bottled water, and had immediate growth. They started looking better.

I changed the lighting system yesterday and watered them with bottled water again. This morning all the plants look wilted. Could this be because the temperature is lower now that the lights are CFLs? It is in a coldish location. {remaining pics taken today}

Well that's the problem you PH to high drop it down to 6.2-6.8 keep it that range you will be ok

Psalm 104:14

"He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and the herb for the service of Man".

Also the seedlings are stretching too much. You can lower the lights and they can handle temp up to 90F but best below 85F.

I'm not sure about the soil drainage too. They look overwatered but you lift the cups to tell so that may not be it. PH is too high and I know most people don't like miracle grow products as they have other potential chemicals that aren't clean.

But I don't know about those spots. What type of soil are you using?

The growing medium is soil-less soil - it's for seedlings and has no added nutrients.

Thanks for the info! I'm finding my backyard gardening skills do not transfer
