Hey all im new to the site and also to the grow scene:) I been hunting the site for some recipies for making teas for vegg. and flower, cause i heard they work wonders. I must be blind or something cause im sure its on here. But anyways if anyone knows some ingredients for making some miracle teas:reading420magazine: would be greatly appreciated:) And also if it could be bought at a home depot or something local:ganjamon: Thanks!

A tea is just compost that you boil and let set around for a few days than water your plants with it. you can try anything fruits, vegi, manures, teas(like Lipton)or mint. bone and blood meal. Just cook it to kill germs.

That is incorrect.

The main purpose behind adding teas is the beneficial microbes. Why would you want to 'cook' it and defeat the whole purpose?

I don't feel right calling it "tea". It's essentially a bag of shit dunked in water, maybe some other stuff added too.

Doesn't sound like tea to me!

IT's not always necessary to put your tea mixture. You can just dump your dry tea mix into a bucket/reservoir, add water and aerate for a couple days. Just water you plants and let the solids in the tea go into the plants pot. Those solid nutes will just set on top and continue to benefit your plants. Here are the veg and Flower mixes I am using:

Veg Mix:
1/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano (PSG)
1/3 cup high N Bat guano ( Mexican)
1/3 cup earth worm castings
5 tsp. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
( that makes the dry mix. You can make all you want and save it for later. )
Mix with water at 1 cup of dry mix to 5 gallon of water to make the tea.
To that 5 gals add:
5 tbs Liquid Karma
5 tbs Black Strap Molasses
Use this to water every 3 rd watering

Flowering Nutrient Mix:
2/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano
2/3 cup if earth worm castings
2/3 cup High P guano (Indonesian or Jamaican)
5 tsp Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
( that makes the dry mix make as much ad you want and save it for later)
Mix with water @ 2 cups per 5 gals.
To that tea add:
5 tbs of Liquid Karma
5 tbs Black Strap Molases
Use it EVERY watering

Use a cheap queen size nylon for the tea bag if you decide to use one. Put the mix in it and tie it in a knot in it and hang it over your bucket. The tea should look like a mud puddle. Agitate the bag in the bucket vigoirously Use an aquairium pump and air stone to dissolve oxygeninto the soliton to keep the good bacteria alive and thriving. Let it bubble a day or two before you use it. Reduce by half if 5 gals is too much.:roorrip:
