What watt LEDs do I need?

I need something that wont make my powerbill look suspiciously high, but at the same time delivering the light i need to grow a top notch plant.

I would suggest at least 55 watts per square foot. More if you are buying a budget panel. I would think 1200 draw watts would do it. If you want to maximize the wattage drawn I suggest buying a quality panel as you will get more PAR for your wattage used.

The 1200 watt wont look too dodgy on the power bill will it? Unless LEDs are that cheep to run..And yea it will be my first indoor grow, my purple kush and crown royal seeds turned up in the mail today so im pretty excited, cant wait to get stuck into it.

They run at 550w/hr,quite a lot.
You could get Mars2 900 or 700 they all are pretty good.
You probably want light with Veg&Bloom switch to save some cash on vegging
I got small growbox,and when all running it's 125w in total,and that's round 10£/month (UK)

My 600w HPS only costs $0.90/day to run 16 hrs. Check your electric bill and see how much you pay per KWH. That is what it will cost to run 1000w for one hour. A little basic math and you might be surprised you can afford more watts than you thought.

Ok im looking at the mars2 900, will prob only be 3 plants max, prob only 2 with scrog set up.
I can afford the powerbill at any wattage but dont want it so high that the police come knocking >,<

In UK best is to change supplier,they don't know what u been using...
Try to save that power by switching off other things.

You can shop for your electric provider in the uk ? Nice, competition is always good.

Both ,electric and gas.
It's quite few of them,for some offers you can even get vouchers for high street shops

Thanks for the compliment. It's a sad thing, all our utilities are limited to one provider only. Take it or don't. At least it's still cheap, for now.
