We used to see a lot of that in the local newspapers and TV news programs. After our state went recreational legal it pretty much disappeared.
Now, if they bust an illegal grow operation then 9 times out of 10 they mention that it happened and go on to something else. The police don't even lay all the weed out on the table for reporters who want to take photos.

They take the piss out of the cops.
