The issue of lamp switching from 5000k to 2100k, HPS, lamp made me question at what time is best to do the switch.
Now taking in consideration that i am growing indoor, White russian mostly indica strain, with 2- 600W HPS and 1-400WHPS in grow tent, having 17 cloned plants at 45 cm height, feeding with guano bat dung and advanced nutrition set from Holland,.... my doubt is that; if i switch now to 12/12 by making it 32 hour darkness to speed up the switch....and simultaneously switching the bulbs, i am afraid it does make the growth almost completely stopped.
My previous growth went from 45cm to 55-60 at the end of flowering. which ended with not such big yield. I have had completely healthy plants but with relay slow grow rate during flowering.
So did my change to 12/12 with drastic darkness of 32 hours at first, and 2100k bulbs made the plants almost stop from growing in flower,??
would love to hear the thoughts on what i might improve to get ideal conditions.
