just trying to learn so i ask those who know - i "thought" that you waited until about half were amber. are there amber ones in the pictures i missed? i see the cloudiness vs the clear now thanks to the pictures which are very sharp and defined - nice pics.

The amount of amber comes down to preference. I want mostly milky for a more energetic heady high. Here is a pic of the maturity guide. I use a USB 1000x microscope. You can get them on Amazon for about $20

No problem. If you get the scope make sure you look at the trichomes with your grow lights off and the led on the scope turned down. The light can make clear trichomes look milky. Don’t want to waste all of your time growing by harvesting too early

Decided to go ahead and cut 2 tops off. Mostly milky so screw it. Now they’re hanging to dry. Going to let the rest of the tops go for a few more days then cut them off. After that I’ll let the lower stuff finish off. The buds under the 2 tops I just cut are yellow where the tops were sitting. They are definitely going to need some more time

I think I’m going to give the tops a few more days. I’m going to cut them and let the lower buds catch some light to finish as long as I can before the leaves get too dry

She has been chopped. Cut the whole plant because I’m going to need the tent after these dry

Smoked a blunt of the buds I cut off last Tuesday and I have to say I’m pretty baked. I can’t wait for this stuff to cure up. Tried hanging them in a bathroom because I needed the tent for an organic grow I’m trying for the first time. Within 5 minutes I could smell it on the other side of the house. So I had to put my old 3x3 back up and put a 4” exhaust fan on it with carbon filter. This is the dankest weed I’ve grown yet. I’ll report back with final weight once they finish drying and I manicure the buds. The 2 colas I cut weighed 10.72 grams minus the 3 nugs I used to roll a blunt. Each of the nugs were about a gram each
