Young seedling curling leaves down

Hiya , im a new grower and have been wondering if curling in a young seedling is normal , its the first set of leaves after the oval shaped ones and they are curling downwards ? Thanks

Normal...next time just fill the whole cup with medium...easier for the plant and you.

Lack of medium will deter a full root ball

Easier to wrap a piece of opaque paper on outside of cup than to add more soil to that cup....you'll just have to move her to a new pot sooner

Yea okay , im going to put the cup inside a non see through one , will the seedling be alright though ?

Yes, she'll be fine. Don't overwater and put her in a bigger pot in about a week.
