hi this is my second grow and i am having issues with my
grow tent temperature. i have a small 2 by 4 by 5, just fits
into my closet, well i have a filter fan muffler set up on the
ceiling of my tent, that vents out into my bedroom,
and my bedroom door is always open, is a good setup actually
to big for my tent, well my temperature and i have a variable speed
switch for my filter fan, because last year it was moving too fast not
filtering all of the smell, anyway my temperature is staying around
81 and 82 degrees fah, i want to reduce the temp to about 78 to 79 fah
, i also have a 400 hps setup cool tube to my light, ceramic,
vent from outside of the tent , and exhausts outside the tent
well if i cut off the filter fan shouldnt my temp raise, and when i
turn it on shouldnt the temp go back down, well it is not doing that
it seems though the fan is really not doing too much, i do have central
a/c. like i said before i have the fan mounted on the ceiling of the
tent, exhausting the hot air out to my bedroom, i did find a leak in the hose
that exhausts the hot air but after repairing it there really was no change.
does anyone have any idea what i should do,
i just planted the seeds about 3 days ago, not sprouting yet.
thanks

Is that supposed to be iambic pentameter?

I wouldn't worry about 82 degrees F, your plants should be ok with that. Do you have a fan on your cool tube? You're probably just pulling in the ambient hot air from the HPS. Pics and punctuation would be very helpful.

Do not need a lot of light on seeds until they break soil. If you do run hot lights you can run into two problems. Dry up soil of what ever they are in and kill tap root. Two is if light gets threw top layer of soil or what ever they are in will kill tap root.

First off
It sounds likeYou are "recycling " your hot exhaust air
It be better to close your door and open your window if it's cool or cold weather
I used to have a small fan blowing out
How ever....
82 is not a bad temp. I have grown great in
Up 90degree temps so you are still ok
As far as your temp probe make a small cardboard tent that you put your temp probe into.
This will remove the chance of erroneous readings due to the heat of the lamp
