How much is too much Watts?

I was thinking of upgrading to 4 x 600w lights ie 2400 w total for just lighting

Is this too much how much do you guys run successfully?

I just go 60,000 to 80,000 Lumens to the highest bud site.

You would really need to calculate the PPFD for your area, but yes, there is a saturation point with light. You mentioned how much wattage you have but haven't specified room size which we would need to know.

USAGE = ie can i run 10,000 watts in my house without worrying about my door being kicked in..

Ah well that's a bird of a different color. I believe that if you pay your electric bill you won't have any issues as far as power consumption.

My power usage is tiny compared to yours. Im so used of talking about small set ups, that usage is barely mentioned. And i will remember the difference. Thanks for the correction.
