How often are you feeding and watering? I'm telling you mate you need to be watering those babies everyday with a very light feed!! I'll take a bite from a Taipan if I'm wrong!!

No problem I assure you I'm only trying to help I had the same problems with coco for quite some time until I finally figured it out. Now I'm off and running and I just wanna pass along the knowledge.

Well I'm only adding a very small amount of synthetic nutrient so yes that first gallon will be fine for 7-10 days without issue. Don't forget to PH it to around 6.0

Plants are only 5 1/2 weeks old from day of sprout I shit you not. Keep in mind that's a 3x2x5 tent.

The first week while my seedling has just sprouted in the solo cup I just use 1/2 ML of the Dyno Gro Flora Grow per gallon and only feed/water every other day for 7-10 days. I don't use the Hydroton until I've transplated them into their final pot.

Hydroton is those small pieces of volcanic rock you can find at almost any hydro store. As soon as my seedling sprouts I give it a very light feed like make 1/2 ML to the whole gallon. I use Dyna Gro Flora Gro/Bloom it's cheap and its a 1 part nutrient and I have had very good results with it...

Also I recommend not using anything higher than 3 gallon using this method. 2 gallon is ideal.

Yup!! I believe you should at least water/light feed everyday but yeah you can totally leave it a few days if you have to and still be ok.

Gotta admit I haven't had much success treating coco like soil I've always had a ton of problems treating it that way plus the growth seems much slower kinda like soil. Not saying your wrong perhaps it's the type of or brand of coco/perlite that makes a difference.

Just from my personal experience you don't treat coco like its soil and you don't wait for it to dry up a bit before watering again as this can cause a myriad of problems and deficiencies. Coco retains water and oxygen very well but it also dries up quicker because all the oxygen that it allows...
