    I think I've had 1 potentiometer so far that actually read 100k. Most are 92-95.

    Yeah that makes sense. You'd end up with 5000k hot spots, not blended very well. I was having a hard time figuring out how to mix them as well.

    Curious why not add 5000k? I was planning 80%/20% (ish) 3500k/5000k I'm not sure why really though, other than a wider spectrum. I do like this plan however.

    I'd just run one on veg only for a couple weeks. Just raise up the light and they'll be fine.

    I think you'll like it. I'm using the same, but epistar models until I get a cob setup finished. I've never had an issue with mine.

    This is not true. 2 cree 120's would be pretty good in a 4x4 tent.
