So I found out that the nutrient/deficiency issues I was dealing with were indeed caused by root rot and since this is my first hydro grow, I decided to try to save the plants with some babying as best I could and take them through harvest as a learning experience.
Well here I am getting pretty...
IDK, I use Botanicare pure blend and I am not finding a PPM chart.
That said, I have a hard time believing that they are not a serious nute. Lots of people reviewers/forums recommending it...
IDK guys I don't think it's my math. Originally I was using 1 teaspoon (5 ml) each per gallon. They appeared defficient at that amount, so I tried a while at the "aggressive veg" level from the bottle which is 3-2-1 teaspoon per gallon. That had pretty similar symptoms. Then I tried doing the...
@013 I'm not sure. Only one person here said they thought it looked like root rot and they were basing that on supposedly seeing slime on top of my air stone in my last pic. I am not sure whether or not that's accurate though because literally, everyone else here is saying it doesn't look like...
Also, do I seriously need to do a change every 2 days? I have read all over the place that it's more like once a week and the manufacturer says once a week too.
@NOOOBIENOT Thanks but for one I am actually OK with the learning curve and expected it. Not a huge deal. Also, the top is not clear or white, it is very thick and it's gray. The light reflecting off of it makes it look white but it's not clear or see-through in the slightest.
So you must be...
Thanks 013,
Fair question but I was definitely correctly understanding the measurements in those terms.
The top is actually more gray than white but the light reflecting makes it look pretty bright. You definitely cannot see through it at all but my water temp was running pretty warm while I...
To be clear these are two different plants. And I am not sure either are really doing any better. Yes they are growing but both plants still have brown spots forming at the tips of almost all new leaves and that eventually takes over the leave and kills it.
The one plant is a lot brighter...
OK Guys, so been feeding it the new nutes for a couple of days. Here's how they look (still not great but maybe we need to give it time).
Also, I am getting concerned about root rot. What do you think about these pics? We still looking at nutrient stains or is this root rot? One is the big...
