You can force it to flower. Just choose your time wisely. Lets say sun rise at 6am and set at 8:30 pm. Just buy a tarp or something that can cover your plant. Build a tent if u need to hold up the tarp. After you have done that. At 6pm cover your plant. Make sure the tarp is black or dark...

If thats the only one you are growing, you don't necessarily have to chop it down. Just grow it out and keep the seeds.

The leaf turning color could be from numerous things or conditions. From the look of it, i think it was because of the weather. When it gets cold for the certain strain it turns the leaf purple, but thats fine from what i can see.
