Hi madmarv I will be starting off an indoor grow and was initially going to use a single 25W full spec LED (supergrow Halo) but i'm in a small space with height issues so opted to get myself high output T5 bulbs. Got 8 x 24W purple (8500k) lights and 4 x 24W warm white (2700k) - all 2ft length...

Also considered mounting them up the wall in a vertical hang but further reading seems to favour the overhead light which makes sense to me in the sense that the leaves are designed to grab light predominately from above, not the side.
