Thanks! I went with the Bloomspect panels! I'm thinking it will be an upgrade over what I have now. More light plus less wiring to deal with. I'm looking forward to seeing them in action. For $59/each, I think it was a no-brainer.

I currently run 20x 9w led screw-ins for flower. Getting decent results. Looking to upgrade. Not looking to spend alot for hobby/personal grow.
I've narrowed it down to 2 choices.
2x Bloomspect 300w
or
(1) Maxsisun 450w dimmable
Which would be best for my space?

So as stated previously in this thread I run 20x 9w LED screw-ins in a 2x4x6 tent, for a total of 180w drawn from the wall for 22.5w/sq ft.

Thanks for the reps!
I totally get what your saying; cost played a big part into going DIY, - I honestly couldn't justify the $138 or whatever for a set of MarsHydros going into my first grow.
Nonetheless, I decided against CFLs due to heat concerns. My empty tent was sitting at a steady...
Thanks for the compliment. I spent about an hour in the electrical section of HD putting them together. ;)
The fixtures consist of the following -
One of these (no pull chain):

Two of these:

First time grow.
I was going to use an array of CFLs, or perhaps invest in a low-cost LED panel for flowering when I found a thread on another site re: "Off the shelf retail store screw-in LED and CFL bulb comparisons" that laid out all the numbers and had examples of some very nice results...
