Re: My clone story (pictorial) taken early, done cheap and successful Fantastic advice and ideas everyone. I will trim off the leaf tips right away. The cups and water idea sounds very interesting, you can watch the roots grow! And willow tree stems, I had no idea, but it makes sense. Those...

Thank you for the good info jimm14, I will keep my seeds in the fridge from now on. What exactly is a "locking side tub" and a "paper wage packet" though ? And is the kitchen towel cloth or paper ?

30 year old seeds from my grandpas basement

I have given up on my ten year old plus seeds. two months worth of various germination methods and nothing. I read somewhere else in the forums about a "bean soak" recipe, but I didn't try it. I think it used molasses? Hope you have better luck!

I don't understand why so many are eager to top, frim, primp whatever

Topping helps me keep the height down as my grow box has limited space. Topping also spreads the branches out so they all get more equal lighting. My last harvested plant had 16 main shoots and several secondary shoots at the start of flowering, and being at the same height, they all developed...

The X Files - Pics of very strange seedlings

Well, Allie didn't make it, I guess she was just a weak seedling. Becky is doing fine, after we fought off a fungus gnat attack. Daisy, the strange looking bush plant is healthy and happy. I didn't have to top it at all, it just branched out everywhere on its own. Very sativa looking leaves...
