no its not normal :) if the water keeps running out through the holes it means that the soil is totaly dried up and water can not penetrate through it due to surface tension.. you can try by making a small cup in the middle of the pot and water it slowly... you will find a balance... i can pour...

i agree with mayor here... mars hydro does some excellent lights... imo best price/performance out there. stay away from the reflector line or 3w chips tho... those are old models... i can recommend mars II 400 and 700 lights since i own both of them. one is 190 and 320 watts true power...

well i thought the whole point of LED lights is efficency... if we didnt care about the power consumption we can toss in a 1000w HPS and hell with it :D. also if you read my earliest replies... i poisoned and light burned my plants with 48w/ft2 (326w in 6.75ft2 area) test i did... leaf tips...

re: Fabric pot advantages & disadvantages? Get super root air pots and get best of both worlds... solid support and strong pots for manipulation in the garden and pruning effect for healthier plants and massive root mass of fabric pots.... i swear by them. and they also flat pack for storage...

i got a 25% increase of yield and i did everything wrong so :D yea it works! the biggest advantage to lst training is... well trimming is like trimming 12/12 from seed plants but they are topped and trained :P

im running mars hydro now... they are magnificent lights. also i tried sticking the 700w(326 true watts) mars hydro into 2.5x2.5 tent and there was so much light it poisoned them and they started dieing after 2-3 hours. thank god i checked the tent and saw burned leaves so i could put in 400w...

problem is his strain selection and tent height.... his tent is just to low for pots that size i am afraid... pots are almost 13 inches high... we can reasonably expect for flowers to go 40 inches in height since he picked some sativa dominant stuff and dont forget you need about 20 inches of...
