For sure, id assume that's why my bigger plant still looks the goods just before lights out. I guess when using photo plants it isn't as much of an issue during flower as it should be harder to over do it with 12 hours of light. Would explain why my first grow went so poorly. Tiny autos...

Great thread and info. I'd like to also throw a thought in the mix... i know a little bit about DLI and that a plant can only take so much light per day. Do you think that reducing the intensity of the light (either by dimming or raising) would have the same effect as reducing the daylight...

I've seen others do this, I'm guessing you just need to supply your own correct gauge wire to whatever length you require. I like the driver in the tent for winter warmth.

Great choice bud. I have a single v1 that got me 113g at 135w in a slightly smaller tent. So with double the power you will kill it.

My first DD grow had a purple and a green, and so far i prefer the green. The green is more balanced while the purple is very speedy, but i think it's more due to the harvest times than anything else. Purple smelled like sweet cereal and grass, green smelled like pine and wet dog at one point.

Left is a strain called GG Allin. Full indica, super dense and very smelly.

DD trimmed up on the right. The darkest so far due to crazy low temps I've been battling.
