Thanks guys, if it is spider mites want can I do?

I believe it is I’ll check when I get home. Some info I probably should shared it is planted in fox farms ocean forest and shortly after planted something did some digging exposing a small portion of the roots.

Can anyone identify what is wrong from the picture?
