I think the first batches I mixed of CCO and DMSO separated because the DMSO was crystalizing and reliquifying as room temp hovered just around the 65 degree point. The CCO separated and sank to bottom where it didn't redissolve when DMSO reliquified. That's probably why I had to keep mixing it...
