i see thanx for the reply. yeah, i think ill dig 3' down and use some of the sandy soil mixed with the poly crystals and black topsoil. there should always be a good source of water in the sandy clay base at the bottom. thanx dude!

i am growing outdoors and have found a good private spot with a water source. the question is: the soil is loose sandy clay, with nutrients. it looks like it will support good growth with fertilizers, trace minerals etc. should i dig it up and mix with potting soil and polymere crystals...
