I've read several threads about making Oil and Butter. My question is do you need to dry/cure the buds or shake prior to making oil/butter? It seems to me that using freshly harvested buds would allow more THC/CBD's to be released into the oil/butter. Any Ideas or suggestions?

Been there......done that and got the T-shirt. The grow part is easy compared to a proper harvest and cure. I almost hate it when it's time to harvest my plants, that's when the real work starts. Getting your buds cured properly is the hardest part growing your own meds.

I have one of those "box" vaporizers with an adjustable digital readout. I was wondering if I took some kief put in in the vape bowl and set the digital to 180 degrees, do you think that would work to decarb and activate the THC?
