If the leaves are turning light green or yellowish it could be a nitrogen deficiency

I'm currently researching because I plan to use autoflowering seeds and I have read for optimal conditions they like 18 hours of light.. I'm growing Them outdoors and it is only light for approx 13 hours is it ok to bring them in under lights for 5 hours to reach desired time..?????
