Clones suffering when removed from dome

I have trimmed fan leaves - since I read to do that - but now wait until the leaves actually show damage. My last cloning attempt yielded perfect looking mini-plants; instead of hacked up looking things. I have also totally removed all of the fan leaves and had very low success. I...

    Fresh bud in butter?

I think you want it dry so it can be ground up - better extraction.

    Quantum T5 Badboy

I set up my (legal MMJ) room about a year ago and started with the T5 BB in veg, so I don't have any experience with MHs. In the past year, I have grown a few strains - white widow, white rhino, blue moonshine and sacra frasca. The ww and wr had tight internode spacing in veg. The...

    Quantum T5 Badboy

I am using 4100K, 6500K and 3500K bulbs. Mostly 6500K (maybe 2 of the 6500 to the others), but trying to intermix the lot. If I look up from the floor and see a mix of bulbs, I call it good. I am sure there are better ways, but my plants are so happy, I can't mess with an awesome thing...

    Lumatek Ballast

Old thread but perhaps my 2cents will help someone looking to purchase - I bought two 600w Lumatek ballasts and have been using them for nearly a year. Stupid me never saw the issues about the bulbs until I was recently in search of replacement bulbs. I have been using Hortilux and Solarmax...

    Quantum T5 Badboy

If the BadBoy is not assembled correctly, it may not work right. Had that issue with my 4 bulb, as it was assembled at the factory. The thingey that the bulb snaps into was not quite on right - sorry for the verbage. Even a properly assembled lamp with improperly inserted bulbs =...

How Long Should My Clones Take To Root?

I think I had read about every thread I could find on cloning before I tried it myself. I read many books on the subject. I documented every tip that seemed worth while. Many people brag up aeroponics, so I made my own aeroponics cloner - 21 sites. Aquarium heater and air pump for a...

    Quantum T5 Badboy

I now have three T5 Badboys - 2 of the 8 bulb and 1 of the 4 bulb. I was surprised at how much heat is produced by the three - substantially more then the initial 8 bulb and 4 bulb set up. I am using low stress training on my mothers now. Even the sativa mothers love the T5s and are...

Superoots Air Pots -An Evolution in Containers

I've done white widow and white rhino in the air-pots. I haven't seen the pots speed up the process, just improve yield. I tried to pull earlier then the recommended 63 days, by a week, and quality was compromised. No sense rushing a good thing. :thumb:

Lightrail movers are good but not as good as AGRA MOVER

My grow is MMJ legal, so no SOG here. However, I do low stress training during veg to try and develop more bud sites. I have 2x 600w HPS (Radiant reflector) lights, for 6 plants. For the first few grows, the mover was turned off because of the noise issues. For the current grow...

Lightrail movers are good but not as good as AGRA MOVER

I was getting so frustrated with the noises and then the stopped mover, I was ready to buy the heavy duty light rail mover. Communication attempts through the Argamover website were futile, and I had the light rail (5.0 I think) selected and ready to order. But sending emails through...

Lightrail movers are good but not as good as AGRA MOVER

The owner of Agramover has been very helpful. A heavy duty spring is necessary for two lights on one mover. Two lights on one mover may require a rebuild annually; so if you invest in one of these, be sure to buy the rebuild kit. I think it's also important to clean the track often...

How To Build an Inexpensive Carbon Air Scrubber?

That looks like a good fan to me. Maybe if you google it, some user ratings will pop up. More then the fan sound, my issues are the vibration noises from the fans - floor trusses etc. I used lots of insulation and can still hear the fans. Not stealth at all. Good Luck

How To Build an Inexpensive Carbon Air Scrubber?

forgot to mention, there are a few photos on my gallery if I ever build one again, I'll definitely take step by step photos for now, it's doing it's job, so no poking around needed

How To Build an Inexpensive Carbon Air Scrubber?

Greetings 905jay - I wish I had taken more photos, as I built the thing - but I didn't. The other photos posted here pretty much give you the jist of the project though. Most of the photos that I have were taken from others' posts at various sites. Here's what I have in notes: (sorry -...
