I read a little on starting seeds, a little on veg and flower. I guess my question is on set up. And can I turn a middy seed into chronic?

I'm wanting to grow and I'm sitting here taking notes on lighting, vegging, and flowering. It all seems like so much I want to give up. Can anybody simplify it for me. I want to do hydroponic growing. Any info or link would be helpful. Please remember I'm very new so English please. :) I don't...
