If your not using poos and teas, go with general organics. You can get a complete starter box for like $30 at grow store and cheaper online.I dont think anything from advanced is organic. A mix of ffocean and happy frog is simple medium base

some Alaskan humus. Do you brew teas? Add benefical bac/fung?Add mycorrhizae?...if your still looking for a clone solution a light kelp meal works great.
IMO your plants aren't burning, they are deficient! I would increase your nutes a little and stop cutting off your leafs. Even if they are ugly they are still holding precious nutrients that your plant needs. Give it an all around npk and foliar with high k kelp.
You mentioned your using sink water...do you have a ppm meter? Check your tds, both right out of faucet and after left out for 24 hours for chlorine to evaporate. Tap Water that is too hard can have too much mag or cal and cause nutrient lock. Well water (treated with a softer) is bad news and...
I believe your original problem was over watering. Better to let her dry out a little bit and let roots expand. I like to put hydroton on top of soil as well. Will keep your top layer moist and undisturbed when you water so roots have even more space.
