Haven't posted any pictures of the progress for a long time now. About 10 days to harvest by my estimate.

Day 21 of flowering. I gave the underside of the plants a good cleaning today. Got rid of all the small branches and leaves that wouldn't get any light. Hope this will also increase air flow between the branches.

Hi there. I'm doing my first hydro grow now, which is pretty large, but have about 3 years experience growing in soil beforehand. I'm noticing a few things, judging by the pics and the info you provided: 1. The pots you have them in are quite small for the plants to be grown to this size in...

Day 10 of flowering. Thought I'd get a bird's eye view just to see how many tops for future buds there are.

Day 7 of flowering. Is it just my imagination, or are they getting bigger?

Day 5 of flowering. A bit bummed out with the progress. Seriously considering going back to soil. I think it's mostly due to the quality of water, but who knows.

This is them at the beginning of day 3 of flowering. I'm not totally dissatisfied with their evolution, but I've learnt 2 very important lessons: #1 Hydroton is not a growing medium that I like. Next time I'll be using small rockwool cubes #2 Hydroponics definitely requires good quality water...

    1st Grow - Indoor Soil

If it were me, I'd put the plants much closer to the LED lights. They're nowhere near as hot as HID lamps, so you should be able to get away with much less distance between the light source and plants. Otherwise, you might end up with plants that have a lot of spacing between inter-nodes. Just...

This is them at day 19 in the ebb and flow system. I think they could have gotten even a bit bigger, but sadly I over fed them a little and now I'm having to flush with just water for a few days.

    Is this good air circulation?

Hi there, In the past I have used a dimmer that worked just fine on my extractor fan. I don't know which part of the world you're writing from, but here's a link to it on one of my local websites, and maybe you'll be in luck and find something like it in your area. Take care. Variator turatie...

Hi there, It depends very much on what type of water you're using. I would try to get water with a ppm as close to 0 as possible ( Reverse osmosis water or distilled water) and add about 1/6th of whatever quantity it says to add on the nutrient bottle. And then, with a ppm meter, or EC meter...
