    Understanding ph and ppm readings

Think of them as two separate entities. For example, my grow has a rising PH problem in beginning. It was more than likely the waterfarm causing the rise as PPM didn't effect it much. I've never seen more consumption and then all of a sudden PH is affected by it. And if the plant is young...

Barneys Farm Blue Cheese 35th Day of Flower

What kind of tent and light setup? Also you ever thought about dropping soil for like maybe a waterfarm. Just curious, I've never done soil, but gotta love a waterfarm.

Newbie has heat issues in grow tent

Aircooled will help, maybe. But more than likely if your getting that high of temps you need to either drop your ambient temperature with AC in house or get a portable air conditioner. Temps create huge issues tackle it before you run into trouble.

Not sure if my lights are strong enough

Holy crap no way. I'll make it real easy, go to completed journals and search cfl grows. That will give you exactly the info you desire.

why is my ph climbing so fast? is it normal?

This is my second time to use waterfarms. This time same thing, i soaked in 5 pH water for a day, and before that they were rinsed with just regular water. It looks like the climbing is slowing down, but going from 5.5 to 6.7 in under 12hours sucks.

    New to Growing! Help!

Congrats, good luck. I had a 6in windtunnel and a carbon filter. In summer temps got to hot without a dedicated ac. But i also had a 600w in a 3x3x7. I would look at completed 400w tent grows and see what they did.

It won't be even, but remember it's only a 5x5 and both lights have a coverage area of 2.5ft x 3ft.

    Stevehman's LED Buyer's Guide

Haha I hear ya, I got what you were saying. I placed order this morning and from mentioning this thread got free shipping. He talked me into 2x200w for a 5x5ft tent growing 2 plants on a 2.5x2.5ft scrog screen.

    Stevehman's LED Buyer's Guide

Plan on buying 3x DS200's for 2 waterfarmed scrog plants in a 5x5 tent. Want a replacement for 600watt hid, ie same yield. Let me know of your opinion I've followed all your grows and it seems you prefer multiple small watt's VS a single large light.
