It's not a street lamp. I bought them at a hardware store. They consist of a ballast, igniter, the socket, wires, and the box. What I'm talking about is moving them to another enclosure that is more conducive to this application.
Okay, I checked the FAQ that was posted here from OG and found info for one kind of light. It's a bit different than mine. My lights are in a brown metal case and heavy as all get out. They don't have a light sensor. Will everything else be the same? The diagrams aren't on this post, but I found...
It's a standard bulb and you can replace them. I'm trying to find out how to take them apart and put them back together w/o destroying them. I got a really good deal on them and haven't seen them for sale since. They cleared them out and I definitely don't want to chance screwing them up.
I have a 400W HPS & a 400W MH. In the past I've used the MH for vege and the HPS for flower. I'd like to use them both all the way through.
They are both the large, brown security lights and I would like to convert them to a single lighter and less bulky light. Does anyone know of a how to...
You want to store them with a desiccant which will solve the moisture problem. I've frozen them before, but currently have about 30 different types (I haven't been able to grow for 2 years now) in the envelopes they came in in a large sealed plastic container filled with rice. You can also use...
Your gallery pics look like males, but some better pics would help. They take a while to mature to the pollen stage. You should definitely be able to get them out before you have to worry about it. If they have the white hairs, they're female. If they have growths that look like little balls...
It is definitely wet so give it a few days before you fert. The 400 should dry it out pretty quickly. You'll lose the bottom leaves that it has started taking nutrients from. Don't sweat it there will be plenty more. They will just shrivel up and drop off. My first grows were with Scotts Smart...
How old is it and have you given any fert? It looks like it has alternating phyllotaxy. When they start to run out of nutrients they take them from the bottom leaves. You may need to give a very light fert. Over fert hits the top of the plant first for future reference.
Why do we need more social programs? If the government would just butt the he!! out of our business, communities could take care of our own. We don't need any more taxes.
