You can get boards and strips for much less than $2 watt.

You can get Samsung based strips cheaper than that and not have to wait on them.

If you wanna do it right, go with the Samsung based boards or strips. You will get rid of your heat issue a lot and you can get them closer to the plants without burning as long as you have some air circulation.
